He recalls when he came to Ballito it was still a fishing village surrounded by rolling green sugarcane fields. It has now become a thriving investment hub for many national and international clients. His exposure to international investors has resulted in him advising many foreign investors in cross-border forex transactions and ensuring that the capital investment is housed and secured in the most practical method. He loves interacting with the many foreign clients. Being a qualified notary has exposed him to the vetting and notarial execution of many foreign transactions from various parts of the world. He attends to the notarial authentication of documents, including authentication by apostille in terms of The Hague Convention of 1961. He finds this work extremely interesting.
Whenever dealing with a matter, Louis encourages clients to always look at the long-term consequences of their decisions.
